The Lubbock Commandery of Knights Templar 60 was honored to be a part of the West Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Lubbock groundbreaking ceremony. VLB Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham announced that the Texas VLB and Texas General Land Office were awarded over $15 million to build the state’s fifth Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Lubbock. The West Texas State Veterans Cemetery will serve over 21,000 Veterans and eligible family members. It is truly an honor and privilege to serve our Texas Veterans when they need us the most.
