December 2015 – Lubbock Masonic Lodge receives its second Vanguard Award
The Vanguard Award is an award from the Grand Lodge of Texas that is awarded only to Masonic Lodges that meet a long list of specific criteria such as community involvement, charitable activities, support of youth activities, including scholarships and demonstrate overall improvement, as recognized by the District Deputy Grand Master. Only 96 Texas lodges out of nearly 1000 Texas Lodges were awarded this prestigious award for the 2014-15 Masonic year.
For the second time in three years, Lubbock Masonic Lodge is a recipient of the Vanguard Award for the 2014-15 Masonic year. The award will be presented at the Grand Communication in Waco In December.
This award covers the time period of Past Master Glenn Fant’s year in the East.
