I wanted to share the impact of our Lodge’s support of Buckner’s annual shoe drive.
Their original goal was 250 pairs of shoes. Thanks to the generosity of the Lubbock community—including supporting organizations like ours—they collected more than 2,000 pairs this year—eight times their original goal.
Buckner’s families will receive shoes first, and because the response was so overwhelming, the remaining shoes will also be made available to others in the Lubbock community who are in need.
Our support was a small part of a much larger effort, but it helped make this possible. I wanted you all to know that what we do as a Lodge is making a tangible difference in our community.
To say I am proud of our Lodge is an understatement and I hope our support of Buckner’s will continue for many years.
Thank you, Brethren, for helping us put our Masonic principles to work.
