Tonight was a great night of Masonry. We had a few visitors and a building full of laughs.

The new officer line was elected and will be as follows:

  • Worshipful Master: James A. Clark
  • Senior Warden: Tanner R. Cooper
  • Junior Warden: Adan Hidalgo
  • Treasurer: Bill C. Cooper
  • Secretary: Jeremy D. Hogan
  • Senior Deacon: Arlie Cates
  • Junior Deacon: John Davis
  • Tiler: Jerry Hendrick

Congratulations to the new officers. Lubbock 1392 looks forward to another successful year with peace and harmony prevailing. Installation will be at the District 93 Joint Installation by Most Worshipful Grand Master Reader on July 12th at the Scottish Rite building – 10:00 AM.

We also had a theft. Wolfforth-Frenship 1447 swooped in and stole their traveling belt back. Even though the July reset was approaching – they couldn’t leave it at that! It was great having the visitors and the laughter. The belt is at Wolfforth-Frenship 1447 – go get it before Lubbock gets it again.

Matthew Reynolds presented Bob Chesser, Bill Cooper, and James Clark with granite plaques for their service to the Hilltop committee over the last few years. The Hilltop Committee will be retired to the Grotto. The Grotto will breathe new life into the next 60 years of Hilltop!

25-26 Elections and a theft!!!

James A. Clark

For James, the journey of Masonry—which began in May 2000 at Clinton Lodge No. 23—is about more than just titles. Currently active in Lubbock Lodge No. 1392, Wolfforth-Frenship Lodge No. 1447, and various York and Scottish Rite bodies, he sees these affiliations as avenues for deep Masonic education. James advocates for a Craft where the bonds of the dining hall are supported by a dedication to our ancient truths. His mission within the District 93 MWSA and beyond is to harmonize social ties with reflection, moving the brotherhood from rote memorization toward the genuine pursuit of light.
